[edit] Introduction
Heroes is a television show (2006) starring Masi Oka and Ali Larter, amongst many other actors and actresses. (The show is unique in that it has a variety of "main characters" with mostly individual plotlines). Heroes plays on comic books, and possibly on action movies as well. It involves several characters, each with a special power, and many of them intertwined in some way or another. (Each episode seems to connect more and more characters.) The characters include Mohinder Suresh, a former University Professor who is trying to find these individuals with special abilities, Claire Bennett, a cheerleader with the ability to heal herself (even after walking through fire), Nikki Sanders, a porn star (not by choice) who appears to share a body with her deceased sister, Hiro Nakamura, a young businessman who can freeze and travel within time, and Peter Petrelli, who can fly and take on the powers of others.
Each show concentrates on an assortment of characters - some recurring, others not. Peter, Claire and Hiro are seen in virtually every episode, but Mohinder has only recently returned.
