Nickname given to fans by the show's producer.

[edit] The Underfunded Five

The main continuing characters from both seasons.
They work for a secret American intelligence agency known only as 'The Agency'. So called because The Agency is chronically short of funds.
They are:

1) The Official - Charles Borden, a.k.a. the fat man, the 'fish; leader of The Agency. Career spy.
2) Eberts - Albert Eberts, The Official's right hand yes-man. Former IRS agent recruited for his research and record-keeping genius.
3) Robert Albert 'Bobby' Hobbes - Former Marine, served in Desert Storm. Ex-CIA Agent, ex-FBI Agent. Suffers from Bi-Polar disorder, paranoia, probable low-level schizophrenia, and ADHD. Still the best The Agency has, although poorly treated.
4) The Keeper - Claire 'Keeply' (real surname unknown) - Brilliant scientist working for The Agency, in charge of caring for and experimenting on their 'secret weapon', the Invisible Man.
5) The Invisible Man - Darien Fawkes, former cat-burglar and three-time-loser who got out of jail by allowing his scientist brother to implant an experimental 'invisibility gland' in his brain which allows him to become invisible at will. More than 30 minutes total usage without receive a shot of a 'counteragent' causes 'quicksilver madness' in which all inhibitions are negated and he becomes dangerous.

[edit] Quicksliver

A mysterious substance discovered by scientist Kevin Fawkes. It bends light, allowing anything it covers to be undetectible in normal visible light spectrums.

[edit] The Gland or The Invisibility Gland

Biosynthetic gland invented by Kevin Fawkes which when implanted in a living brain allows the organism to excrete quicksilver through the pores, which forms a thin coating and renders the organism invisible. He implanted it in his own brother's brain as a temporary human experiment, but was murdered before he could remove it again.
