- On January 29, 2001, the LiveJournal community Yuri was founded. It was dedicated to f/f anime pairings (also called yuri. Fan fiction communities represented include but are not limited to: Avatar: The Last Airbender, Card Captor Sakura, Iono the Fanatics, Kashimashi, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Rule of Rose, Saigo no Seifuku, Sailor Moon, Simoun, Starship Operators, Strawberry Panic, Tetragrammaton Labyrinth, Yamaji Ebine.
