linagourry, the Slayers TRAD mailing list, was founded by Pairaka on May 10, 2000. It saw its posting volume peak in November 2000. As of August 17, 2006, the group had 275 members.
The Slayers TRAD mailing list was dedicated to promoting the Lina/Gourry and Zelgadis/Amelia pairings in the Slayers anime series (these pairings were seen as supported by canon). In particular, the list had a long-running rivalry with the zellinaxellos list (Slayers Fanatics!), which was seen as promoting the Zelgadis/Lina pairing.
In 2000, listmember Astra created archives associated with this list, one dedicated to Lina/Gourry fan fiction, one to Zelgadis/Amelia fan fiction, and one containing both Xelloss/Filia and Valgarv/Filia fan fiction. Several months later, Astra passed these fan fiction archives on to new maintainers.
