Lisa Payne was a member of the X-Files and Forever Knight fan fiction communities during the 1990s. On January 13, 1994, she posted Like a Shepherd, arguably the first uploaded piece of X-Files fan fiction, to the Internet. It was a Forever Knight/X-Files crossover.
