Well before I write anything about this couple I want to warn you this is just one fan's opinion and don't get upset about what I post about them blah blah blah. So anyway this couple from Xenosaga is probally the most complicated. Alot of people believe that their relationship is more of a sibling kind while others believe it to be more romantic. However other sites/guide references don't clear up this confusion. In my Xenosaga III guide all it said about them was "Their good friends". And if I'm not mistaken this may be the only internet source that doesn't bash on this couple or mention their shota and loliness. Provided below is a small summary on why people believe they're a sibling pairing and/or a romantic one.

Theres not much evidence to support that their is no love connection between them. Many believe that it couldn't work for two reasons:
1) Even though Jr. is a URTV he s considered to be a human. Opose to MOMO who is a Realian or to be a bit more simplier a robot. And well people think that a human and a robot can't find love together.
2) Probally the main reason the age difference. Jr. may appear to be 12 but thanks to his altered genetics he is actually 26. MOMO was programmed to look and feel like a 12 year old girl. Even though really in human years she is probally a bit older than a infant. Anyway fans feel that a 14 year difference is a bit awkard. However IT DOESN'T MATTER THEY CAN'T AGE!!! *cough*
[edit] Romantic relationship
This couple had many romantic scenes together hinting that they might care for each other a bit more then friends or siblings. There is also many fanfics and fanarts that fans have drawn and written to show this. Me personally I believe that they could be lovers. (Maybe not now but in a few years.)
