Maya

Maya is a member of the Harry Potter fan fiction community and the author of at least one influential Draco/Hermione story, "Draco Malfoy, the Amazing Bouncing... Rat?". She is mainly known for having authored many Harry/Draco fics, noteably "Underwater Light", "If You've a Ready Mind", "Quality of Mercy"(WiP) and "Drop Dead Gorgeous"(WiP). She also wrote a McGonagall/Flitwick fic, "A Distinctly Different Manner of Finding Prince Charming"; a Ron/Pansy fic, "Flame and Shadow" and a Draco/Zacharias Smith series of humorous fics, "The Badger Series". She tends not to favour the Ginny/Harry ship, although in QoM the pairing plays a major role and it's fairly treated. Her characterizations often reflects a meta aspect.
Even though her fics are widely known in the slash Harry Potter fandom in all platforms Maya rarely participates in fandom as such beyond writing fanfic and doing commentaries and parodies of the movies, limiting herself to direct interaction with her readers and fans through comments and posts.
