Maygra, aka Maygra de Rhema, is a multifandom fanfiction author who has been involved in fandom since 1995.

Maygra first got online in the fall of 1995, primarily due to the fact that RL friend bbc [1] found Highlander stories on the web (which Maygra did not have access to at the time) and printed them off by the ream. Hence was an obsession born. By fall, Maygra had an internet account under the name vwatts. As Valerian, Maygra began reading the newsgroup alt.tv.highlander, lurking for several weeks before venturing a comment.

Her first net-published work was the Highlander gen short story, The Abomination, posted to The Highlander Quill Club in July 1996.

In the fall of 1996 the small ISP holding her account went out of business. Signing up with Bellsouth's newly launched internet service, her previous name (and multiple acceptable incarnations) were unavailable to her, and so she chose the name Maygra instead. Though attempts have been made to change her pseudonym, Maygra largely fails at maintaining multiple personalities.

Maygra began writing slash in 1997 with the posting of Brotherhood, the first story in the 6 plus one unfinished story of The Shield Brothers Arc in May of 1997. She is primarily an OTP writer in any given fandom. The original posting was hosted by Kevin Robnett, a well known Duncan/Richie writer.

The pseudonym, Maygra, is taken from the main character of an original (unpublished) novel by V. Watts.
