[edit] Fanfiction.net History

Mike Industries is a Fanfiction writer who joined FanFiction.net originally to contribute to the Sonic the Hedgehog fandom. After writing The Chronicles of Dense, his first fanfiction writing, it was deemed a failure, and was deleted in August of 2006.

Later that month, he posted the first chapter of Return To Green Hill, his only Sonic the hedgehog fanfiction on Fanfiction.net. The story became widely popular, and Mike considers it his first success of his many internet projects. On March 13, 2008, he deleted the original version of the story, and posted Return To Green Hill: Revisited Edition, adding new scenes filling in plot holes.

On August 25, 2006, he posted his first Kim Possible fanfiction story, The Vexeder Virus. The story received some praise and produced a sequel, The Vexeder Virus 2: A Sidekick's Dilemma. The sequel failed, and Mike pulled the plug. However, On September 5, 2007, He posted the first chapter of The Vexeder Virus 1.5, a joint writing between himself and two others who wished to remain unnamed. The story was to be a complete rewrite of the original Vexeder Virus, but due to differences in opinion, Mike and the other two writers disbanded, leaving the story unfinished.

After taking a break from Fanfiction.net, he returned to writing July 2007, posting One Single Shot. The story immediately became popular among the fanfiction community, most noted for his version of the character, The Grim Reaper. The story was nominated for The Fannie Awards and Dot Moon's UFO Awards. It did not make it past the first round of voting in the 3rd Annual Fannie Awards. He still considers it his best work.

On August 6, 2007, He posted his first fanfic that featured a slash pairing, A Bond Never Expected, for the contest Something Different, Something New managed by Zaratan. The story did not win the contest, but it did receive some attention. Mike expanded the story after the contest, and the story is his only on-going story, with no plans on ending it anytime soon.

October 2007 marked Mike's first Halloween themed story titled These are the Eyes of Pure Evil, marking it the first ever crossover story between the Halloween movies and Kim Possible. He only posted one chapter, and left the story unfinished. Mace Ecam has adopted the story, continuing where Mike left off. The project was given the green light by Mike.

On January 3, 2008, he posted One Single Shot: The Supplemental Files, the prequel to One Single Shot. The idea behind the story was to be a series of one shot stories taking place before the original story. Two days later, he posted the first chapter of Two In One Single Shot, the sequel to the original story.

On April 25, 2008, Mike had announced to the entire Kim Possible Fandom he was taking a break from writing fanfiction, leaving many of his works unfinished. He stated, "I have got so much going on with my life right now with trying to get into college, dating, family, working... It's taking up a lot of my time. So much, I can't make the free time to write. The only free time I have anymore is between the hours of 12:00AM and 8:00AM, and I sleep, much to popular belief, at least 6 hours of that."

On June 12, 2008, Mike hinted that he would come out of his "small break" by discussing details in the KP Discussion chat of a new fanfiction idea he was working on. The next day, June 13, 2008, Mike sent out a private email stating that all of his personal issues were over and he was going to start writing again.

On June 14, 2008, He posted Picture This, his first ever Kim Possible poem. He entered it into a contest over at RS.net, and used the poem to mark his return to fanfiction writing.

On July 17, 2008, Mike uploaded the first chapter to his Bleach fanfic, Hitori Kara Saishuu: Alone At Last. Less than a month later, he uploaded the second chapter. The story did run into some complications, for the story was to be a three chapter story. Due to the popularity it received, Mike is debating still on weather or not to extend it. If the story were to be extended, the plot would have to be changed as well.

On September 23, 2008, A second part was added to his poem, Picture This.

[edit] Youtube History

On February 10, 2007, Mike joined Youtube under the name djmTp.

On March 20, 2007, He posted his very first Parody of Kingdom Hearts, called Kingdom Hearts 2: The White & Nerdy Parodies. The video consisted of cutscenes of Kingdom Hearts 2 redubbed with audio from movies and T.V. shows. He then uploaded the second video a day later, making it a series. He continued posting more videos in the series, the last being on August 25, 2007.

On May 06, 2008, Mike released a 40+ minute download for The White & Nerdy series, containing all of the past episodes content, plus deleted scenes.

On May 10, 2008, Mike released a small preview video for The White & Nerdy Parodies 9: Kim Possible. Less than 12 hours later he realeased the full video. And later, he uploaded a Commentary on W&N 9, the first time anyone has heard his voice.

On June 06, 2008, White & Nerdy Parodies 10: Kim Possible 2 was released. Later that day, the preview for White & Nerdy 11 was posted, indicating a parody mash-up video between Avatar: The Last Airbender and Kim Possible was in the works.

July 2008, Mike canceled White & Nerdy 11, stating "He did not like the outcome of the video."

On August 2, 2008, Mike uploaded a preview of White & Nerdy 11.5. On August 5, 2008, he released the full video, White & Nerdy 11.5: Kim Possible 3. It only featured audio from SpongeBob and Invader Zim. He also added Avatar to the mix.

Recently, Mike has been working on White & Nerdy 12, but has run into problems.

[edit] The Anthology

The Anthology is Mike's personal website. It's main purpose is to locate all of his projects into one, easy to find spot.

February 2008: Mike launches his website, The Anthology, which was created to place all of his projects in one spot. Thus, making it easier for everyone to find them. Along with the website, he created the Anthology Forum, which hosted the Fannie Awards Live Chat. A couple of months later, Zaratan announced to the forum that the chat room was going to host a Live Chat every night. Mike made this official a few hours later by creating the logo.
Kim Possible Discussion Logo.

The forum was deleted August 2008 after an attack on the site by hackers. The former Admin noticed the forum was in shambles and deleted the forum himself, stating to Mike it was "beyond repair". Mike agreed and moved on.

The KP Forum Chat was moved to another chat host. GhostWhiter created an IRC based chat, and Mike handed over the chat room responsibilities to him.

Recently, Mike moved The Anthology from Google Pages to Freewebs, and added major additions to the site. These included:

  • A Members only area, where videos and downloads can only be accessed by an account through the site. The videos available to members are exclusive deleted material that never made it into the White & Nerdy series.
  • A new video gallery.
  • A new forum.

[edit] Other Projects

September 26, 2007:

Mike founded the forum, The M.I. Poll Forum to test out the new poll voting feature of fanfiction.net. The forum's name was then changed to The Poll Vault due to a vote. It is currently the second most popular Kim Possible forum on Fanfiction.net. The forum is also moderated by Ran Hakubi and Pharoah Rutin Tutin.

2008

Mike began writing blogs on ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.com. The blogs feature the series Understanding Noobs, where Mike takes noobish comments and translates them for everyone to understand. It's meant to be funny and not taken seriously. The blogs have a small popularity to them, but Mike states he only writes them for fun.

He also publishes PSP game reviews, but only one has been completed.
