Mona Delitsky

Mona Delitsky was a member of the Space 1999 and Star Trek fan fiction communities during the 1970s. Living in Ann Arbor, Michigan at the time, she published Cosmoconnection #1 in July of 1976. This fanzine contained Star Trek and Space: 1999 material. It had stories by Mona Delitsky and John Petty. It also had a commentary on Space: 1999 by Sharon Ferraro and art by Mona Delitsky, Rodney Allen, Nelson Brown, Marty Siegrist and Aaron McClellen. In January of 1977, Mona Delitsky published Cosmoconnection #2. This zine contained four pieces of Space: 1999 fan fiction. It also contained a fan adaptation of the episode, Earthbound. During the summer of 1977, she published Cosmoconnection #3. It contained an account of Mona Delitsky's trip to England where she met several members of the Space: 1999 cast and the second part of the Earthbound fan adaptation. In the fall of 1978, Mona Delitsky published Cosmoconnection #4. This edition contained an article on the British show, The Prisoner. The zine also included a report about the first Space: 1999 convention which was held in Columbus, Ohio in 1978. It also included a Space: 1999 humor story titled "Fun With Maya" by Eddie Salmon. The zine had several pieces of fan art contributed by Rodney Allen and Aaron McClellen. In March of 1980, Mona Delitsky published Cosmoconnection #5. This zine contained articles about The Prisoner and featured fan art by Aaron McClellen.
