niviene was a member of the Space Cases, X-Files and Dawson’s Creek fandoms. He is notable as being one of the early people to purvey badfic in fandoms where the concept was not yet a mainstady. In January of 1999, niviene posted an announcement to alt.tv.space-cases that he was starting a badfic site which would mock Space Cases, X-Files and Dawson’s Creek.
