This band has a very small fandom. Its origins are uncertain, due to the lack of information and sources. Material for this fandom can be found several places on the Internet including FanDomination.Net. [1] and some scattered stories on AdultFanfiction.net. It is generally believed that there is not an off-line, convention and fanzine based fan fiction community related to this community, as it had been found none.

Oasis are an English rock band, formed in Manchester in 1991. The band were formed by Liam Gallagher (vocals), Paul Arthurs (guitar), Paul McGuigan (bass) and Tony McCarroll (drums), who were soon joined by Liam's older brother Noel Gallagher (lead guitar). Oasis have sold more than 50 million albums worldwide, and have had eight UK number one singles. Liam and Noel Gallagher are the only continual band members. The present lineup (2007) is completed by songwriters rhythm/lead guitarist Gem Archer and bass guitarist Andy Bell, rounded by as-yet unofficial drummer Zak Starkey.

- In early May, fans of the band Oasis got cease-and-desist letters from the band's management, which inspired one young aficionado, Jack Martin, to launch the Oasis Webmasters for Internet Freedom. [2]

- On May 1, 2001, noelstory.com, a fan page featuring fanworks about Oasis, Blur and Radiohead, was created
- On June 16 the webpage Days of Liam's life [3], an archive of heterosexual themed fanfiction, was created.

- On August 25, 2003, Ste's Oasis Fan Site was last updated. [4]

- On February 2008 the Livejournal community wts_fic was closed after approximately three years of lethargic activity
- On April of the same year, the OasisSlash [5] archive was created.

- On February 15, 2009, Ste's Oasis Fan Site shut down when Tripod shut down. [6]

A great part of the stories from this fandom revolve around the issue of incest (between the two principal members of the band), so they are pretty frowned upon outside their community.

As it has been said before, this is a considerably reduced fandom. It story on Livejournal included a ceased commuity called oasis_slash which existence predates 2006, and also the before mentioned community wts_fic. Then, a memeber from wts_fic, hope_to_last, created the OasisSlash [7] archive.
