Some, like Holly Black, would later help Cassandra Claire become a professional author and, by doing so, become forever connected with her work. R. J. Anderson would later play a part in the story by trying to encourage Cassandra Claire to approach Pamela Dean for permission. Her e-mails would also play a part in the telling of the Cassandra Claire Plagiarism Debacle in August 2006.
- At some point during December 2000, Peg Kerr, a professional author, had entered Cassandra Claire's professional author friends. This was one of her earliest professional author aquaintences, an aquaintence type that she would begin to actively court. Peg Kerr would become a regular in HPforGrownUps regular Sunday chats.
