[edit] Introduction

Pi-Con is a science fiction, gaming, and lifestyle convention in West Springfield, Massachusetts. The name comes from its location in the Pioneer Valley. Programming includes dealers, an artshow, panel discussions, and gaming. The convention is in part modeled after Arisia; the founders wanted a similar con of their own in the western part of the state at the opposite end of the year. Pi-Con, however, is a much smaller convention, with around 200 attendees in each of its first two years.
