Pureblood

Pureblood is a canon term in the Harry Potter fandom used to describe those wizards of a pure wizarding ancestry - specifically having no muggle blood on either side for many generations. Those of mixed ancestry are termed halfblood, and those of purely muggle parentage are called muggle-born (or more slanderously mudblood).
