ROG-L

The ROG_List was started in 1997 by Jenny Shipp as a slash-friendly, character-specific forum for fans. The ROG-L list had a capped membership due to the fact that it was a paid listserver, rather than an educational (free) one.
In 1998, Maygra de Rhema became the new list admin, with Rachael Sabotini acting as back-up. In 1999, Maygra invited Rachael Sabotini, Merry Lynne, and elynross to serve as list co-adminsitrators, and in 2000, Maygra bowed out completely, bequeathing ownership to the other three. In 2002, Rachael, Merry, and elynross turned the list over to Suze, who immediately drafted KadyMae as co-administrator (although Kady prefers to be addressed as co-Despot).
The ROG-L list is still in existence although with little traffic. However, the current administrator, Suze, maintains an exhaustive list of archives and resources for slash fans called Essential Links for Slash Readers.
