Ravenwood240 is the pen name of a Montana born woman currently living in the Southern USA and attending college. Raven became interested in fanfiction during the long wait between book four and five of Harry Potter. According to her, she had read the fourth book to a group of younger children and without any idea of when the Order of the Phoenix would come out, she began writing the story called Prophecy. A long time friend of hers introduced her to fanfiction on the net and her first site was the now defunct Gryffindor's Tower, where she read Anya's "Naked Quidditch Match" and Ruskbyte's "Order of the Phoenix."

Ravenwood240 did not publish anything on that site, but she did find FanFiction.net and FictionAlley.org in July of 2003. She is still active on FF.net but doesn't seem to be updating the FA.org site anymore.

Her early works show the influences of the site she started with, being H/G ships. Later works are more H/Hr and recent works have explored other ships as well.

Outside of fanfiction, Raven has tried skydiving, scuba diving, competition shooting, spelunking and a host of other hobbies. She is currently a student in pre-med.

Raven claims that her works will be finished at some time but makes no promises as to when.
