Real Digimon Believers

Real Digimon Believers is an e-group on MSN Groups that was started in late 2007. Its main premise is that Digimon and the Digital World exist, and the group has been purposed toward accomplishing the goal of visiting the fictional Digital World through an organized event called the Digiclipse. The Digiclipse would involve members of the group from all over the world holding their toy Digivices to the sky at the same time in an attempt to open a portal of some kind. Many members of the group claim to have a spiritual connection to their Digimon partner.

Expectantly, the group's beliefs have been lampooned and satirized on a number of forums, especially on Something Awful. Associated forums have been hacked by raiders from not420chan. As a result, the MSN e-group was locked down by the admins and membership was restricted. Membership has since been restored, but the Group is off limits to non-members.
