royalfortressmeadow was born on May 9, 1991, in Los Angeles, California. She lived in the Philippines for 14 years, then moved to Macao at the age of 15 in 2006. royalfortressmeadow moved to Hong Kong the year after that, where she currently resides. She studies at American International School for her Senior Year. royalfortressmeadow is currently 17 years old.

royalfortressmeadow aspires to be a successful psychiatrist, as well as writing books and novels about psychology as well as other genres. Aside from writing, royalfortressmeadow enjoys singing and playing the guitar, as well as reading books. royalfortressmeadow excels at Mathematics, Psychology, and World History, and has a GPA of 3.6.

royalfortressmeadow is a fan of David Archuleta, the runner-up of American Idol 2008. In honor of Archuleta, royalfortressmeadow names Edo Phoenix and Asuka Tenjoin's 3rd baby "David" in the fifth installment of the Things Like this Happen Series, Through the Years. Also, royalfortressmeadow has mentioned in her fanfiction.net profile that one of the things she wants to do before she dies is to "meet a star, preferably David Archuleta".

My Otherself: A Memoir of the Great Pharaoh is about Yugi Mutou and Yami Yugi's otherself relationship. In the story, Yugi becomes indifferent towards Yami and decides to become friends with Yami Bakura instead of his otherself. Yami, in turn, is troubled with this, and tries to solve this mystery with the support of Joey Wheeler. The story is based on a true story that royalfortressmeadow has experienced. Although most readers think that the story is a puzzleshipping (Yami/Yugi) fan fiction, royalfortressmeadow regards it as merely a strong friendship story between the two characters.

Just Friends is a one shot fan fiction concerning the character Fubuki Tenjoin and the romance between Ryo Marufuji and Asuka Tenjoin. The story is narrated by Fubuki, who spies on the two lovers for two consecutive nights at the light house of Duel Academy. This story is regarded as the reader's favorite out of all of royalfortressmeadow's fan fictions.

Pro League Days talks about the character Ryo Marufuji and his days at the Pro League, also known as a University in the story. Some readers believe that the story is a pairing of Edo Phoenix and Marufuji, although royalfortressmeadow did not intend it to be one.

Glasses is a short 5-chapter story about Ryo Marufuji and Asuka Tenjoin as a married couple. Glasses involves a car accident involving Ryo and his family (Asuka and 10-year old twins, Daniella and Junior). However, Ryo wakes up and finds that his family is okay. Although he initially believed the car accident to be only a dream, mysterious disappearances concerning his family make him wonder otherwise.

Paranoia is a one shot royalshipping fan fiction that talks about Asuka's insanely huge crush on Ryo.

  • The Last Wish: A Tribute to the late Kaiser Ryo [21]

The Last Wish: A Tribute to the late Kaiser Ryo is, from the title, a tribute to Hell Kaiser when he "died" in the GX series. The story revolves around Ryo's contemplation on his evil deeds, and his sudden fear of being forgotten when his time comes. This story was inspired by Linkin Park's Leave out all the Rest, from their album Minutes to Midnight.

Legends of the Cards is a collection of stories about the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Cards, revolving around the questions, "How did the creature turn out this way?", "Why did the creature become good/evil?" or "When did this all begin?", etc.

  • The Love That Never Died [23]

The Love That Never Died is a 4-part arc story involving an original character made by royalfortressmeadow. The original character was named Katherine Sylvanna. The story revolves around her romantic affiliation with Yami Yugi and Seto Kaiba, although the Seto Kaiba love affiliation would officially start later on in the story, in Chapter 29.

The "Things Like This Happen" Series is a 5-part collection of stories involving the romantic affiliation of Edo Phoenix and Asuka Tenjoin. This series was the first series dedicated to the charmshipping couple. The series was originally set to be a trilogy, but due to the number of readers it attracted, royalfortressmeadow decided to add two more parts. The series is the most widely read among all of royalfortressmeadow's fan fictions. royalfortressmeadow regards the series as the "most successful fan fiction story I wrote so far", due to the mass attraction of readers and good reviews.

Initially, the series was supposed to have a genre of light humor, which explains the humorous and embarrassing situation Edo and Asuka got involved in on the first installment, and the light-hearted thoughts of Asuka about Edo in the second installment. However, due to the development of the two characters, the genre gradually leaned on romance and slight angst. By the time the series reached the fourth and fifth installment, the genre became angst and tragedy.

  • Things Like This Happen I: At the Beginning [24]

This one shot story is the first installment of the Things Like this Happen series, regarding Asuka Tenjoin's contemplation on her romantic affiliation with Ryo, and her unexpected meeting with Edo Phoenix.

  • Things Like This Happen II: Growing Attraction [25]

This one shot story is the second installment of the Things Like this Happen series, regarding Asuka Tenjoin's contemplation on her awkward night with Edo Phoenix, as shown in the first installment.

  • Things Like This Happen III: Destiny or Fate [26]

Things Like This Happen III: Destiny or Fate is the third installment of the Thing Like This Happen series, which talks about a blooming romance between Edo Phoenix and Asuka Tenjoin, as depicted in the first and second installments. It also involves Asuka's past romantic affiliation with Kaiser, now Hell Kaiser. This story is the first story of the series to have multiple chapters and not just a one shot.

  • Things Like This Happen IV: The Dragon's Fate [27]

Things Like This Happen IV: The Dragon's Fate is the fourth installment of the Things Like This Happen series. Unlike the previous installments, which are in the third person point of view, this installment is written in Kaiser Ryo's point of view. The story is set 5 years after the third installment. The narrator Kaiser talks about how he misses Asuka and how he is not in favor of Asuka's relationship with Edo. Throughout the story, Kaiser tries to figure out a way to set the couple apart.

  • Things Like This Happen V: Through the Years [28]

Things Like This Happen V: Through the Years is the fifth and final installment of the series. The story is set 24 years after the fourth installment, on Edo and Asuka's 24th wedding anniversary. When Edo finds out that the love in his marriage was slowly depleting, he tries to find ways to save the marriage and make Asuka happy again. Later in the story, another story plot involving Asuka's 3rd pregnancy unfolds; the couple suffers another problem, due to the risk that their baby might die, or be inflicted with ABS (Amniotic Band Syndrome).
