Ruth Berman

Ruth Berman was involved in the several fandom during the late 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. She is known for a number of things. One such thing involved the publishing of a piece of actorfic in June of 1970. Her story, a sequel to "Visit to a Weird Planet," was titled "Visit to a Weird Planet Revisited." In this story, Shatner, Nimoy and Kelley end up on the Enterprise. (Langley: [1] Ruth Berman was also known for her involvement in the Blake's 7 fandom. In 1988, Ruth Berman was one of a trio of authors to write a sequel to "The Totally Imaginary Cheeseboard." The sequel, "The Other Side of the Coin," was written by Ruth Berman, Jean Airey, and Laurie Haldeman. The story’s premise involved Paul Darrow finding himself on Blake’s 7’s Liberator. Like the original, it too had permission from the parties portrayed in the story. These stories were two of the more famous pieces of Blake's 7 ActorFic.
