[edit] Archive Policies
The archive accepts all slash and slash-related stories based on the films Shanghai Noon and Shanghai Knights. Mixed slash and het stories are also welcome.
[edit] Archive History
- Shanghai Noon was released on May 26, 2000.
- The shanghai_slash yahoogroup was established on June 4, 2000 by sockii.
- The associated archive was launched on August 14, 2000 by sockii.
- Shanghai Knights was released on February 7, 2003. Many fans were disappointed on the emphasis on the "romance" between Roy and Chon's sister Fann in this sequel, and instead of inspiring new fiction the sequel seemed to kill the already small fandom.
- The last update to the archive was on December 28, 2003 as the fandom has essentially been dead except for occasional stories written and posted for Yuletide.
[edit] Archive Funding
- The archive is funded and paid for by sockii.
[edit] Archive Size
- As of November 28, 2007 there were 33 stories by 9 authors in the archive.
