Silver Sporks is an offshoot of the LiveJournal community Deleterius. The purpose of the community is to spork extremely long, mainly Harry Potter, fanfiction as a group, with each member volunteering to spork one or two chapters, so the load can be shared equally. From the "About" page: This community is for group sporkings of incredibly long classic Harry Potter & Lord of the Rings badfic.
The first fic tackled by Silver Sporks was Cassandra Claire's Draco Trilogy, starting with Draco Dormiens. They have currently finished Draco Dormiend, Draco Sinister and have started on Draco Veritas. Due to the enormous nature of some of the chapters in this long fanfiction, many members are finding it difficult to finish their parts in due time, or at all - a solution for this is sought, but it is likely connected most to Cassandra Claire's verbose writing style and excessive amount of sideplot

As of August 5, Jesatria decided to add two co-mods to the community, to keep the work in check while she had less time to govern over the community. These new mods are morriganscrow and roaringbrute.

On September 26, 2007, the sporking LiveJournal community silver_sporks was created. [2]
On February 3,2008, Silver_Sporks finished the Spork of Draco Dormiens by Cassandra Claire.
On June 21,2008, Silver_Sporks finished the Spork of Draco Sinister by Cassandra Claire.
On August 5, 2008, Morriganscrow was appointed to co-mod position.
On August 12, 2008, Roaringbrute was appointed to co-mod position.
