On September 12, 2002, FanFiction.Net banned all Real Person Fic from their site. Linkin Park fen started publishing to several sites include fanfictionlog, Soup Fiction and FanDomination.Net. They also moved part of their community to LiveJournal communities. One of the early and important ones was fanficdotnet.
The archive eventually closed after it was hacked.
