Justice League is a cartoon series that aired from 2001 to 2006. It featured DC Comics superheroes, including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, and Martian Manhunter with many appearances from other DC Comics superheroes/villains. In 2004, the show was renamed Justice League Unlimited.

- On September 3, 2002, the Justice League cartoon premiered on television in Canada. [5]

- On January 4, 2003, Hawk's Night, Lantern's Light by ObsidianJade became the first Justice League story published on FanFiction.Net. [7] [8]
- On February 22, 2003, the Justice League cartoon premiered on television in Norway. [9]
- On March 1, 2003, the Static Shock episode A League of Their Own premiered featuring the Justice League, it was the first crossover between the two shows.

- On February 7, 2004, the episode Fallen Hero premiered which is the second crossover between Justice League and Static Shock.

- On July 31, 2004, the third season premiered with the episode Initiation. The show was renamed to Justice League Unlimited.

- On February 3, 2005, HawkAngel XD's Songfic Collection Vol I by HawkAngel XD became the first Spanish language Justice League story published on FanFiction.Net. [13][14]
- On July 23, 2005, the episode Epilogue premiered featuring characters from the Batman Beyond, it was the first crossover between the two shows.
- On September 3, 2005, the Justice League cartoon premiered on television in Germany. [15]

- On April 14, 2006, Batwoman: a lenda da herdeira de Gotan e Themícera by Leticia Naegino became the first Portuguese language Justice League story published on FanFiction.Net. [17][18]
