Taisuke refers to the slash pairing of Yagami Taichi and Motomiya Daisuke from the Digimon anime. This couple is also called TaiDai, DaiTai, and Daichi. Fanworks of this couple occasionally are shota.

In the beginning of Season 2 of Digimon, Taichi gives Daisuke his pair of goggles that he wore throughout Season 1. In essence, Taichi passes the crown to the next leader.
