[edit] Pairing names

I think this shouldn't be limited to "possible portmanteaus" as some of the pairings do have names conned by the Japanese fandom.

To be specific, it's complicated to list the pairing names for 'Frontier', mainly because of Kouji and Kouichi. You can basically call it "Koukou" and it can mean either Kouji x Kouichi or vice versa. In the Japanese fan community, they often refer Kouji as 2 and Kouichi as 1 based on the kanji of their names. To explain, Kouji and Kouichi use the same character for "kou" in their name, and Kouji's is followed by "ni" (2) and Kouichi "ichi" (1).

Kouichi x Izumi has a small fan following in Japan and this pairing is often known there as 1 x Izumi. Kouzumi in Japan is 2 x Izumi. When Kouji and/or Kouichi is paired up (or tripled) with Takuya, the same notations are often made (or are called twins x Takuya).

[edit] Separate articles?

I'm debating if each name needs it own article. For example, Daito and Yamasuke mean basically the same thing; the only difference is who "tops." Is that enough of a reason to differentiate the two terms? -Jae 14:32, 21 September 2007 (CDT)
