Do we know if she wanted her real name connected to her fannish identity or not? Because this has been an issue in the past with fans who have passed on, and who therefore cannot be contacted about this issue directly. --Sidewinder 14:19, 4 May 2008 (EDT)

If it is the case of not having wanted the connection between fan identity and real life identity, then I'm all for deleting the page (and hiding previous histories of it) and then reforming the page anew. If that wasn't the case, then I'm all for putting her real name back in. --Laura 14:34, 4 May 2008 (EDT)
I'll do some hunting around later to see if she used her real name in any public fannish boards or stuff. Or if someone could chime in with such info that would be appreciated. If she used her real name publicly then that's fine, leave it in. But if there's no traceable record of her using it publicly, I'd delete it to avoid issues.--Sidewinder 14:41, 4 May 2008 (EDT)
I'm pretty certain I could find contexts where she used her real name, most notably in her whois information for CFan but that's a tough call in regards to fandom as I don't get the feeling she was selling her real life credentials and her fannish credentials in the same way that other places in fandom do. Otherwise, I think you and I are on the same page. I've no desire to repeat the mistakes of past. And if she didn't use her real name, then delete and recreate the article so it is clearly gone. *nod nods* --Laura 14:51, 4 May 2008 (EDT)
As far as I remember, Kielle's real name was used enough times that it was pretty much common knowledge, at least inside the circles around her. However, you might do well to put up a request somewhere visible for anyone who was closer to her to please weigh in on this topic. SLWatson 16:30, 4 May 2008 (EDT)
