[edit] Dealers

Hey, Sidewinder, did you finish creating a template for dealers? If so, when/if I get the time, did you want me to go through and create some stubs, sort through the pictures and include pictures of any signs affiliated with them? --Laura 08:15, 28 May 2008 (EDT)

Let me test out the template on a sample dealer page to make sure I'm happy with it, then I'll let you know and we can copy/paste it around.--Sidewinder 09:26, 28 May 2008 (EDT)
Good deal. I'm sort of happy (at least when my internet is behaving today and it isn't) creating some pretty much stub articles. (Did one for Lansing and Holiday Inn South.)
Here you go: Template:Dealer. Should do the trick.--Sidewinder 11:12, 28 May 2008 (EDT)
Stub pages all created. They basically only say they were at MediaWest 2008. Beyond that, not much. At a later time, or if some one has the interest, the pictures can be sorted through to put pictures on their dealer pages. Long term, we should also sort the dealers category by type. If we get a lot of those pages, things could get really messy fast.
Other issues, IDIC probably needs to be made into a disambig so the dealer page can be added. Flamingo, same deal. --Laura 12:53, 28 May 2008 (EDT)

[edit] Pictures

On a some what happy note, the pictures for this convention seem to be getting some traffic. I plugged on two Supernatural mailing lists, in the comment of a post on the MediaWest LiveJournal community and on my LiveJournal a few days back. Image:MediaWest_Friday_64.jpg that image might be a bit of a problem possibly. It got linked via e-mail and since it includes a lot of people, it might be worth just deleting. I'll probably comment on it to mention that. --Laura 09:32, 28 May 2008 (EDT)

I am inclined to say, delete it? Because it does feature people who may not have given consent to be photographed (unlike myself, who has no problem looking hideous in far too many MWC pictures.) Doors and flyers are one thing but the potential issues when the con doesn't have a clearly stated policy (yay or nay) on photographing individuals could be problematic.--Sidewinder 11:14, 28 May 2008 (EDT)
If you want to preemptively delete it with out any comment, that works for me. Please go ahead. :) --Laura 12:26, 28 May 2008 (EDT)
