[edit] Cleaning
Most of this page could probably use a good spring cleaning. :( I just have no idea really where to start with that because a lot of it was copy and pasted from other parts of the site and essays I wrote. It totally lacks meaningful context. --Partly_Bouncy 18:43, 18 April 2007 (CDT)
[edit] Userboxes
Man, making userboxes is fun!

[edit] RPS and BandSlash
I know nothing of bandslash, RPS slash or anything outside of media stuff, really, so anyone who does, might want to add notable 'fandoms' in the intro section where I list about notable slash fandoms.
[edit] Claims in Introduction
While the opening paragraphs are interesting, they definitely need citations to back up the claims. In a big way. -Jae 07:10, 3 October 2007 (CDT)
- yup. I'll get to that, probably in a few days. XT
- If you do, much love. :) Unrelated, thought about moving the sources to a separate page like Star Trek bibliography because they're useful but also cluttering up the bottom. And did I friend you over on LiveJournal? I thought I did as I really enjoyed your comments regarding male participation in fan fiction communities. --Laura 11:18, 3 October 2007 (CDT)
- I might think about condensing the 'definitions of slash' section towards the bottom (it repeititous) and perhaps also condensing the timeline so it's not year by year, espeically in those years where there's not a lot happening. Re: friending me, I don't know if you have or not, I got a recent uptick in freinds for some reason so I don't know who-all has freinded me why. Personally, I think the sources - at leas most of them - should remain, in some form or another. I'll take a look at them and about how to condense things a bit.
- The repeated definitions for slash ended up there because for a lot of pages, I've been trying to get definitions that date to year. Smarm is an example of that. I've just found it useful in terms of tracking how those definitions changed. And where they change and mutate. It's interesting to me, from a linguistic viewpoint. I can move those to another page that mirrors the similar term pages... because slash is more than a term, more of a cultural view point. And the uptick in friending probably has to do with the reaction to the stuff on the gender based fan debate and fanarchive. I acquired at least three friends because of the latter. (I'm partly_bouncy on LiveJournal.) I just liked your voice because it was different than some of the standard meta oriented voices that can sometimes dominate on LiveJournal. --Laura 20:03, 6 October 2007 (CDT)
[edit] Charts
I love charts. I really do. But at the moment, I also REALLY LOVE aligning the table of contents to the right. It would be nice to better integrate the charts into text and then do that. If anyone feels up to doing that, much obliged. :) --Laura 22:16, 2 May 2008 (EDT)
[edit] Link inclusion
Can anyone help integrate this link about a Spiderman writer's response to fandom into the article? Maybe this link to? Thanks! --Laura 12:14, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
