Talk:Snape Slash Fleet

I used past tense because when I wrote the original stuff, I was trying to get it to be consistent in tense. The other issue was that as this is interactive, I thought present tense might be problematic as things change in fandom and things close. Hence, less problems going that way. I need to figure a way to address that problem. Maybe a template regarding present tense? Saying "This page uses present tense as events are still ongoing. Please be aware of that when editting." or something like that? --Partly_Bouncy 10:55, 4 August 2006 (CDT)

I don't know. I'm using present because in 2005, most of the sites were shut down or inaccessible, etc. However, Titti made a push to reconstruct the Snape Slash Fleet, got new people in to update the archives, etc. So, feel free to use past tense if you want. The main thing I'm doing is linking all the archives, since they do exist. KoP/KoC has been, in theory, absorbed into S&J, I think, but I'll have to look back at the discussions about that (if I can find them) to see. -- Avocado 11:00, 4 August 2006 (CDT)
I don't really have a preference ... Wait. I do. Past tense. I just want to be able to keep track of what happened when and link to things... so yeah. Confused as to what to do. I'll just leave it as it is and worry about it later for now. --Partly_Bouncy 11:15, 4 August 2006 (CDT)
Have fixed tense. I will go through later and expand some of these articles, including who founded them, when they opened, etc. ...Where I can. Some of that is lost because of the deletion of snapeslash. -- Avocado 11:23, 4 August 2006 (CDT)
Thanks. :) And when did it get deleted? I thought Snarry was alive and well, at least based on the Snarry wiki I found. (Which I sourced and borrowed a lot of information from.) --Partly_Bouncy 11:29, 4 August 2006 (CDT)
? Snarry's doing fine, AFAIK. The snapeslash mailing list (on Yahoo) was mysteriously deleted 9/25/20058/20/2005, IIRC, which is what I'm referring to. The original proposals for the SSF occurred on the snapeslash list, as did some of the original discussion.-- Avocado 12:45, 4 August 2006 (CDT)
