This page needs a bit of an overhaul. :( If anyone could figure out how, that would be really spiffy. :) --Laura 09:41, 18 October 2007 (CDT)
[edit] Retooling
Because of the traffic the page got recently, and because of the new movie coming out, I've been attempting to do a major retooling of this page. If anyone wants to contribute information, help in moving the information around, and doing anything else to improve it, it would very much be appreciated. :) I moved the fan fiction information to a separate page because it was taking up a lot of space. Still culling information off the main article to move it there. --Laura 21:28, 8 March 2008 (CST)

Can anyone work the following quote and link in to the article? --Laura 18:47, 3 May 2008 (EDT)
- THE CAST and crew of the upcoming "The X-Files: I Want to Believe" were just a few weeks into filming in Vancouver when Frank Spotnitz, the co-writer and co-producer with creator-director Chris Carter, called star David Duchovny over to a laptop computer to watch a fan-made video on YouTube. It was a montage of scenes from the old "X-Files" show set to Sarah McLachlan's forlorn "When She Loved Me."
- "It was intensely romantic and it almost brought tears to my eyes," Duchovny recalled. "It really did. And it reminded me that we have at the core of 'The X-Files' this very powerful relationship. We have to honor that and not shy away from the sentimentality of the fans or of the relationship itself. When we were doing the show, Gillian [Anderson] and I had got tired of it. And we wanted to be ourselves outside of it. I remember struggling. But now I think, 'God, what a great love affair.' " [1]
