- Great Expectations was held in Austin, Texas.

- The second KiScon was held in 2001 in Irving, Texas.
- From May 18 to May 20, 2001, Long Range Desert Convention was held in Austin, Texas. Fandoms represented at this convention included Rat Patrol, Hogan's Heroes, Combat!, Garrison's Gorillas and Twelve O’Clock High. [1]

- In September 2002, AnimeFEST 2002 was held in Dallas, Texas. [2]
- ItzaCon 4 took place November 30 - December 1, 2002 at the Hyatt D/FW Airport Hotel.

- ItzaCon 5 took place November 29 - November 30, 2003 at the Hyatt D/FW Airport Hotel.[3]

- The third KiScon was held in 2004 in Irving, Texas.
- The first FenCon took place September 24 - September 26, 2004 at the Holiday Inn Select North Dallas.[4]
- ItzaCon 6 took place November 13 - November 14, 2004 at the Richardson Square Mall in Richardson, Texas.[5] It appears this was the convention's final year.

- Revelcon 18 was held March 16 - March 18, 2007. There were panel topics planned including the following fandoms: Heroes, Sentinel, Supernatural, Dr. Who, Battlestar Galactica, RPS, Starsky and Hutch, Magnificent 7, and Stargate.

- In January 2008, a Fangoria convention was held on January 18 in Austin, Texas. [6]
- ConDFW VII will take place February 22 - February 24, 2008 at the Radisson Hotel Dallas North-Richardson in Richardson, Texas.
- Revelcon 19 will take place March 14 - March 16, 2008 at the Holiday Inn Galleria in Houston, Texas.
- A-Kon 19 will take place May 30 - June 1, 2008 at the Adam's Mark Hotel in Dallas.
- ArmadilloCon will take place August 15 - August 17, 2008 in Austin, Texas.
- FenCon V will take place October 3 - October 5, 2008 at the Crowne Plaza North Dallas in Addison, Texas.
