The Circuit archive was a lending library of The Professionals fan stories during the 1980's and 1990's. It included gen but was mostly slash stories.

[edit] Archive Policies
The subscription to the library was $6 for 6 months and $12 for a year. The subscriber would send a list of wants to the archivist who would send out packages every 4-6 weeks. The borrower could keep the stories up to 2 weeks. Upon returning the stories, reimbursement for postage was to be sent to the archivist. The subscriber could borrow up to 10 stories at a time. Requests for stories were made from a master list which was sent to the subscriber. The list was an alphabetical title list including annotations for retyped, humor, historical, death story, fantasy, Emma universe, and sequel to. Subscribers were to return stories using the Post office in either padded envelopes or Tyvek envelopes. They were supposed to in order, right side up, paper clipped and not stapled. As the archive was heavily used, stories were in constant need of retyping. If the subscriber retyped a story, the original was to be returned with 2 or 3 copies.

On March 8, 2004, The Circuit Archive, a fan fiction archive, became fully automated. The archive On March 1, 2000, proslib, online circuit library for The Professionals, was founded. [1]

The library was self-supporting with subscribers and the reimbursement of postage.

In 1994, the Circuit library has 997 stories.
