The Great Break

The Great Break is a LiveJournal community dedicated to all of the writers and readers who left FanFiction.Net after Sarinileni's Lust or Love deletion for its rating. It was created by Solarism on April 15, 2005 as a place to discuss and organise the idea of creating a new fanfiction archive. Surprisingly, fanfiction writers and readers from all the world join the community in a few hours.
People introduced themsleves, their fics, their art or simply discussed topics related to the books. The administrators updated the community with the news about the new fanfiction archive, and even hold challenges for the members to participate.
In October 31, 2005 the Unknowable Room opened to public. The Great Break is still an active community for anyone who wishes to join, but not as active as 2005.
