The full title of this adzine was The Handy Dandy Adzine Calendar and Address Guide for Fanzine Editors and Other Busy People, unique in that it was an adzine for adzines.
Originally it was half of an 8½ x 11 sheet, double-sided and was handed out at conventions. It evolved to a sheet of 8½ x 11 paper folded. The back 'cover' listed all of the adzines in print, with their contact address, while the interior was a chart that listed the submissions deadline and the print date of each of the adzines. Also included in the interior were non-adzine fanzine listings, such as the review zine Psst, Hey Kid . . .Wanna Buy A Fanzine, The Writers’ Exchange, The Fantastically, Fundamentally Functional Guide to Fandom for Fanzine Readers and Contributors, The Fantastically, Fundamentally Functional Guide to Fandom forFanzine Editors and Publishers, and The Fanzine-Taping Service for Blind and Print Handicapped Readers.
The schedule ran from January to December of each year, with the zine updated throughout the year as old adzines were no longer published and new fanzines took their places.
Copies of the adzine guide (and updates) were available by sending an SASE to Susan M. Garrett.
