[edit] Introduction

  • The Lovely Blue Planet of There, 'There' for short, is the first, largest and longest-lived Duranie creativity site on the web, having first begun archiving creativity in 1995.
  • It is an offshoot of UMF, The Zine for the Creative Duranie.
  • It was the first Duran Duran site to feature RPS.
  • It is sometimes referred to (incorrectly) as The Lonely Blue Planet of There.
  • Has three administrators: Tina, Artemis and Birm, who share duties as time permits.

[edit] Archive Policies

  • The Lovely Blue Planet of There will host fan created art, fiction, poetry, and music related to any past or present member of Duran Duran or its various offshoots. Het and Slash fic are both welcome, as is crossover fic. The most critical restriction surrounds the band members' children, known affectionately as the Duranlings: any submission placing the children in sexual or inappropriate situations will be immediately rejected.
  • For most current and detailed site submission guidelines, check here.
