MuppetZine, a self-published fanzine which produced 20 issues between 1992 and 1997.

The Muppets is a collective name given to the puppet characters created by Jim Henson in the 1950s. This term mostly refers to the main roster of characters who typically labeled "The Muppets" who appeared on "The Muppet Show", "Muppet Babies", "Muppets Tonight", and a series of feature films.

  • 1992-1997: Danny Horn produced a fanzine, MuppetZine. 20 issues were published and sold by mail order. The zine included Muppet news, merchandise information, reviews, episode guides, cartoons and essays. In the later issues, the zine included interviews with Muppeteer Bill Barretta, and writers Jerry Juhl and Jim Lewis.
  • 1998-on: Phil Chapman, Danny Horn, Chris Smigliano and Ken Plume launched Muppet Central, a popular Muppet fansite.
  • 2001-on: Danny Horn created another fansite, Tough Pigs.
  • 2005-on: Muppet fans created Muppet Wiki, a collaborative encyclopedia of Muppet information. The site has more than 15,000 articles about Muppet characters, movies, TV shows and merchandise.
