• On July 8, 2002, the LiveJournal community theused was created. [1]
• On September 12, 2002, FanFiction.Net banned all Real Person Fic from their site. The Used fen started publishing to several sites include fanfictionlog, Soup Fiction and FanDomination.Net. They also moved part of their community to LiveJournal communities. One of the early and important ones was fanficdotnet.

• On December 13, 2003, fanfictions was founded on LiveJournal as a place for people to post BandFic. Among the fandoms represented was Good Charlotte, Linkin Park, Mest, New Found Glory, Simple Plan, and The Used. [2]
