General biography
A happily married mother of three and a stay-at-home mom, Tikatu writes Thunderbirds fanfiction, most often of the TV-verse category. She also moderated or co-moderated several fandom specific MSN groups, and is webmistress for an AU fandom role playing site that has original characters in addition to the canon ones. With the demise of MSN Groups from the web, she created her own site which merged two of the groups she moderated into one. The new site is called Thunderbirds Central.
She was possibly introduced to Thunderbirds fandom by seeing the show during its first run, back in the mid-1960s. However, she remembers watching the show during her college years, and in 2003, was reintroduced to Thunderbirds in the form of the DVD collection. Shortly thereafter, she wrote her first fanfiction.
She was a moderator at the long-defunct MSN group, Thunderbirds World (one of the first fandom messageboard sites), owner of its replacement, IR Central, and co-moderator at the movie-verse MSN site, Tracy Island IR. Her fan fictions are archived on FanFiction.net, FicWad, Fanfics.org, FanNation and Lunaescence, and she has some original fiction on FictionPress.com. She was a member and moderator at FanLib. In every place her stories are archived, they are under the penname Tikatu. As of this edit, she has over 1 million words archived on FanFiction.net alone.
