Troll

Trolls, users whose main purpose is to abuse and offend others, often use sock puppet accounts in their attacks. The sock puppet identity can easily be abandoned once the troll is ostracized or banned. Although trolls use sock puppets, not all sock puppets are trolls. Sock puppets are used for many other purposes besides trolling.
