[edit] General biography
Little is known about Starla's personal life, due to her wishes for privacy, though she has released several things over the years.
Of the little she revealed and confirmed, it is known that her initials are C.J, that she is the oldest of four siblings, lives on a farm with a large amount of family pets, and is homeschooled. It was also revealed that she is a citizen of the United States and was born October 9th, 1992.
Best known for her spunky and bright personality, Twila Starla, or most commonly known as Twila, Miss Starla, and Twil' among friends, started out as a devoted and talented Kim Possible fan fiction writer on FanFiction.net.
Soon afterwards she joined A.R.A., a fansite devoted to Kim Possible and American Dragon, where she made best friends with Ace Ian Combat. The two worked together on Cold Blooded Retribution, currently on hiatus.
Since then she published many works such as the award winning Possibles of The Carribbean, Scarlet Favor, Ron Droppable, Tommorrow Is A Better Day, and A Shard of Memory. Some of her oneshots include, Immoral and White Roses.
In 2007, she took up a new hobby in Kim Possible fan video making, her popularity grew vastly, particularly after she produced promotional videos for The Fight For Five, the Kim Possible fan efforts to renew the show for a fifth season.
Some of her most popular videos include, The Fight For Five: This Year (which made a mention in Roger Caitlin's TV Eye article about the effort.), Kim's Eyes, Shego: The Truth Beneath the Villainess and her ever popular, KP: High School Musical three part series.
In March 2007, Twila Starla had joined Ronstoppable.net, one of the most active forums dedicated to Disney's Kim Possible, and it wasn't long before she took up the role of spokeswoman for The Fight For Five. Her promotional videos were vital for the growth of the movement.
Throughout this time, Twila Starla and Darth_Comrade, the founder of the movement and a fan of her work since 2005, had become close friends.
This occurred after they had worked together on a fanfiction called The Lorwardian Wars and in the the summer of 2007 their partnership gave way to friendship. The two finally confessed mutual feelings for each other, but it wasn't till months later that they decided to publicly announce their relationship. After nine months of romantic involvement, they offically broke off the relationship over personal matters, but have since remained friends.
Currently, Twila continues her work in the fan fiction and fan video areas, taking on many video requests that often consume her time. She has also taken to writing on FictionPress, with an original story called Borderline. Like Darth_Comrade, she has quit the Fight for Five, going as far as deleting her FFF videos to cut her ties from them.
