WTB is popular lingo on mmorpgs such as World of Warcraft and Age of Conan. WTB is an abbreviation for Want To Buy. For example:
- WTB Primal Moonweave Bag, 2500g!
- WTB BRD instance run, 50g!
- WTB A LIFE!!!
The mmorpg community often times use the term as a joke or in seriousness. Very rarely will a gamer spell out 'Want To Buy' via chat in a trade channel.
