Wowhead strives in a way no other database has gone before! The average wait time for your comment to appear on a Wowhead information page is instant. As soon as the user posts it, it will display. This is the same for the discussion forums. However, screenshots have about a 6 - 12 hour delay before they are 'approved' and added to the page; of course this is done to ensure quality.

The rating and commenting system of Wowhead takes no time at all to put in your input! A registered member of the site (registration is free!) can help visitors out by giving their own comment(s) and or rating others comments on informational pages. This helps to build community trust

In ways like other places, Wowhead has a strong user community and it depends upon it for it’s data, screenshots, and information. Wowhead is known by WoW veterans for being the only database with the most accurate information, due to a rating and a purge system. Very low rated comments seem to ‘disappear’ and very high rated comments change from white to green color.
