The Potter Slash Archive was founded by Sarvihaara in late 2001 to house James Potter slash and Harry Potter slash. It was originally associated with the glassesreflect Yahoo! group.
On September 8, 2005, Sarvihaara announced that the PSA would become an invitation-only archive and that several authors and stories would be removed. In the same announcement, she announced that chan material would be moved offsite to comply with new Australian regulations.[1]
Sarvihaara also announced that she would be passing the group onto other moderators in 2005. The large Harry section was passed over to a new team in mid 2006, and Sarvihaara continued to run Stag Night, the James Potter section of the archive.
In 2003, the Potter Slash Archive (then at www.psa.shadow-wrapped.net) received a cease and desist letter for adult Harry Potter content. (Chilling Effects)
