The title is German for (or, the online translation for) Carrying Our Crosses. The title was inspired by the Catholic Church's season of Lent, which was when the story was started.

The pairings in the story remain true to the original, mainly ShionxAllen centric. It also incorporates JinxPellegri into the story in the latest chapter.
